| The Pratts reveal why LC attended their wedding despite all the hate

|  Alluding to "making peace with Lauren" in a ferris wheel-wedding proposal in Santa Monica earlier this year, one wondered what that meant - Lauren Conrad did, in fact, attend the wedding of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag in Pasadena in April as Montag requested, despite vocalizing that she couldn't attend a wedding of a match she was so fundamentally against.
Montag revealed that Pratt apologized to Conrad for spreading a sex-tape rumour about her in 2007 in order to get Conrad to attend the ceremony, but Pratt quickly back-pedalled to the press, claiming he'd lied to her in order to get her to attend.
Talking to AccessHollywood.com, Pratt said, "Let me give you the exclusive right here ... See, my lovely wife wanted that girl, LC, to be at our wedding, and I knew I had to do whatever as almost-husband to get her dream wedding put together. So I lied and said that I made something up to make somebody feel good about themselves so that they would attend the wedding."
"That's what a husband should do for a wife," he continued, because somebody contantly Ygives this guy a soapbox. "Do anything at all costs to make them have their dream wedding. yes, Lauren did have that tape and yes, her ex-boyfriend was trying to sell it. Thank you for coming to the wedding. Love ya. Mwah!"
Though all of the stars of The Hills were present at the wedding (rumours say they were contractually obligated), no one presented the newlyweds with wedding gifts. They had 400 guests, and Montag admitted, "I think maybe we got one."

| Another Minogue already engaged?

|  Rumours that Aussie pop singer Kylie Minogue is nearly engaged to her Spanish model boyfriend, Andres Vilencoso, simply will not die, and now comes rumours that her little sister, lesser-known pop star Danii Minogue, is already secretly engaged.
While she sets off for England to film the newsest season of Britain's The X Factor (the show that made Leona Lewis a star) and her boyfriend, Kris Smith, stays Down Under for modeling work, reports claim that the couple were recently engaged on holiday together in Port Douglas, Australia.
Reportedly, Minogue and Smith will announce their engagement this summer.

| Prince Hubertus of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha weds American love

|  On Saturday, May 23rd at the gothic-style Church of St. Moritz in Coburg, Germany, Prince Hubertus of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha was married to his American girlfriend, Kelly Rondestvedt.
Florida-born investment banker Rondestvedt and German-born lawyer Hubertus met in New York City in 2007, where both are based for work. He was dressed in a morning coat and blue tie. She wore a classic floor-length wedding gown with lace sleeves and carried a bunch of white roses interspersed with pale lilac hydrangea florets. Her bridesmaids were dressed in cornflower blue.
Hubertus is a great-great-great grandson of Queen Victoria, and as such his wedding was attended by about 400 guests, many the nobility of Europe, including King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden. Three thousand well-wishers waited outside the church to toast the newlyweds - who were joined in a private civil ceremony two days earlier.
Following the nuptuals, a reception was held at the 12th century Callenberg Castle, the same venue where Hubertus proposed in 2008.

| Channing Tatum planning lavish bachelor party

|  Actor Channing Tatum, starring in the upcoming summer blockbuster, GI Joe, is planning to wed actress Jenna Dewan soon, and according to last week's issue of Us Weekly, the couple have mailed out save the date cards for an undisclosed date before the end of the summer.
And in preparation of his wedding, Tatum is reportedly planning a lavish bachelor party with pals out of the country. "I'm going to either Brazil or Cuba. If we go to Brazil, I might not have a fiancee after," he's quoted as saying.

|  In the issue of Us Weekly where the publication spends most of its' pages slamming Kate Gosselin for gifting an exclusive interview about her marital problems to People instead of them, they did offer up a few pages to former Bachelorette Jen Schefft's May 15th wedding to Chicago stock trader Joe Waterman, including a small inset on the cover showing her in her $5,000 Carolina Herrera gown (which is actually beautiful).
Check out the issue for more on the details of their rainy Chicago wedding day, including personalized M&M centrepieces at each table, printed with a picture of the couple, and details on the music (Schefft's dad got down on the dancefloor to Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" and she tossed her bouquet to just five friends - the rest must be married, the couple is in their mid-30s - to Beyonce's "Single Ladies.")

| Kendra not planning tawdry bachelorette soiree

|  Her farewell to singledom is being planned by her former Girls Next Door costar Bridget Marquhardt, whom former Playmate Kendra Wilkinson recently praised for the great help in planning her June 27th wedding to Philadelphia Eagle Hank Baskett. But Wilkinson insisted that reports the party would be a wild shindig befitting a former partygirl are greatly exaggerated.
"I don't need it," Wilkinson told E! "We don't need the last night of freedom thing. If we are apart, we are going to be on our cell phones like, 'What the fuck are you doing? Is there any ass in your face?'"
The guest list will include Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, her former boyfriend, and the wedding will take place at the Playboy Mansion, Wilkinson's former home. Hefner's three current girlfriends, Playmates' Crystal Harris and twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, will also be there. "They're cool, I like them," says Wilkinson.

| Red Sox pitcher marries in Georgia

|  Boston Red Sox pitcher John Smoltz took time out from shoulder rehabilitation to marry his girlfriend Kathryn Darden. The wedding took place at his home in Alpharetta, Georgia in front of 70 friends and family members on the evening of Saturday, May 16th.
This is the second marriage for both - Smoltz has four children from his first marriage and Darden has two.

| Orlando Bloom & Miranda Kerr engaged?

|  In the past, actor Orlando Bloom and Australian model Miranda Kerr's publicists have vehemently denied engagement rumours surrounding the couple, who have been together since late 2007, but recent photos of the model wearing what looks to be an engagement ring have left the reps at a seeming loss for words.
"I am aware of the images. However, I am not in a position to comment," Kerr's rep tells People.
Some wonder if a proposal took place in the south of France at the start of the Cannes Film Festival this month, when Kerr flew in to be with Bloom for just one night before returning to work commitments in New York.
If true, this will be the first wedding for both.

| Japanese actor weds TV producer

|  Japanese actor Oizumi Yo announced on Friday, May 1st that he had wed Fiju TV producer Nakajima Kumiko earlier that day in Tokyo.
The couple first met on the set of medical drama Emergency Room 24 Hours in 2006 and reconnected on last year's drama series Loss:Time:Love, where romance bloomed. The marriage, the first for both, was timed to coincide with the end of a nationwide tour that Oizumi had undertaken with the theatre troupe he had founded while at university in Hokkaido.

| US fencers wed in Atlanta

|  Sada Jacobson, a three-time Olympic medallist for Team USA fencing, was married on Saturday, May 16th to fencing coach Brendan Baby at the Nellya Fencers Club in Atlanta, where Jacobson trained for the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games.
The couple met at a house party in Queens in September 2006 - Jacobson had been invited by fellow fencer Sergey Isayenko, and Baby was his roommate. "We both have tons of mutual friends in fencing, so it was a surprise we didn't know each other," Baby told the New York Times.
Added Jacobson, " We hit it off right away. Fencing was a big part of it, but he was very easy to talk to and fun to be around, and he just struck me as a very loyal person."
This is the first marriage for both. The wedding was officiated by Cantor Herbert M. Cole.

| Steve McFadden planning to wed pregnant girlfriend?

|  Attending costar Samantha Janus' May 17th wedding in London, EastEnders' star Steve McFadden attended with girlfriend, Dr. Rachel Green, who was photographed wearing a rings that looked a lot like an engagement ring.
The couple made their first public appearance together after it was revealed she was pregnant with McFadden's child in early May and that she was in the process of divorcing her husband. Due in July, it will be the fourth child for each - Green has three children with her soon-to-be-ex, urologist James Green, and McFadden has a son with childhood sweetheart Sue Marshall, and two daughters with ex-girlfriend Angela Bostock.
The notoriously private McFadden has not confirmed an upcoming wedding. It's reported that the couple, who live down the street from one another in East Finchley, met last year while taking their children to school.

| Kristin Davis giving up on marriage?

|  Sex & the City star Kristin Davis, whose alter-ego, Charlotte, was the marrying type, has reportedly given up on marriage herself.
"I don't know if I'll ever get married. I don't say never, but I just might not. I'm 44, but I think you can have what you want no matter how old you are!" she recently told the New York Daily News.
Davis' costar, Cynthia Nixon, recently announced her own engagement to New York City education activist Christine Marinoni this past April.

| Pink & Carey Hart reportedly renew vows

|  Following a year-long separation, singer Pink and motocross racer Carey Hart have reportedly renewed their wedding vows at their Malibu, California home in front of 100 friends and family members, following rumours earlier this month that they were planning to do so.
The often on-off couple married in Costa Rica in January 2006 and separated in early 2008, but continued to spend time together and never legalized their split. Pink's 2008 album featured countless songs inspired by the split, including the hit single, "So What," the video for which even featured Hart. At the start of 2009 the couple began a reconciliation, spotted cuddling on New Year's Eve at Hart's Las Vegas nightclub, Wasted Space.
Currently touring the world in support of her album, Pink laughs at the notion of singing her songs attacking Hart with him watching in the wings. "It's funny to sing them now. Because he's in the audience, so when I sing 'He's a tool,' now that's my favourite line. I'm like, 'Hi honey, that's you!'"
