| Dingdong Dantes Denies MGD Tattoo May 26, 2009 at 11:45 am |
|
I could feel my few remaining brain cells slowly dying while reading the article below. Why can't these celebrities just say yes or no to a question? DO they think fans are as stupid as they are? Okay, I'm not going to say anything else because I love Dingdong and Marian. Not since the Guy and Pip and Vi and Bot loveteams has a couple made a kilig.
I'll give Dingdong a pass on this one. He's probably drunk to his gills during the interview.
Story below.
During the victory party for Manny Pacquiao last May 22, at the Renaissance Hotel, Dingdong Dantes denied having a tattoo of Marian Rivera's name on his ankle.
"E, yun nga, minsan may nakikita ako, minsan wala. Maybe it's all just my imagination. Ha-ha-ha! Okey na yun. 'Wag na nating pag-usapan yun," pagtatapos na lang ni Dingdong na ikinalito ng PEP. |
| Lolit Solis Versus Hayden Kho's Mother May 26, 2009 at 11:40 am |
|
Talent manager Lolit Solis, the former manager of Hayden Kho, lashed back at the mother of celebrity doctor Hayden Kho Jr. and denied instructing Katrina Halili to shed tears before television cameras after the actress' sex video with the controversial doctor flooded cyberspace.
"Huwag kung sinu-sino ang sinisisi niyo. Basta ito tandaan mo, Mrs. Kho, isipin mong mabuti ang ginagawa ng anak mo para alam mo kung saan mo siya matutulungan. Parang kinukunsinti mo pa," Solis said in an interview on GMA's Unang Hirit.
In a television interview on Monday night, Irene Kho alleged that Solis "orchestrated" Halili's earlier interview with GMA News so the actress model could gain public sympathy.
Breaking her silence and taking up the cudgels for her son, Mrs. Kho also claimed Halili introduced her son to drug use.
"Ms. Katrina Halili, nabili na ang arte mo. Sabihin mo, ikaw ang naglulon sa anak ko sa droga," Irene Kho said over ABS-CBN's TV Patrol news program.
But Solis said Mrs. Kho was only being "demented" while Halili's camp reportedly plans to sue Kho's mother for her accusations.
In the television interview, Mrs. Kho likewise slammed Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. for supposedly dragging her into the mess. She, however, did not elaborate. |
| Who Is Behind The Spread of Hayden Kho Sex Videos? May 26, 2009 at 10:32 am |
|

Erik Johnson Chua has issued a statement to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) regarding his involvement in the proliferation of the sex videos of Dr. Hayden Kho and several women.
Erik was once a very close friend of Hayden, but he has now been named by Optical Media Board chairman Edu Manzano as the person who leaked the sex videos to the general public.
Hayden himself, in a television interview, has hinted that he suspects that the persons who leaked the video are friends of his who are angry with him for wrongs he has committed. There is strong buzz that Hayden is referring to Erik Chua and to Bistek Rosario.
Erik has told PEP that he is a graduate of the University of Sto. Tomas, the same academic institution where Hayden graduated from. But contrary to media reports, Erik is not a doctor and neither is he a fraternity brother of Hayden.
Meanwhile, Sen. Ma. Ana Consuelo Madrigal claimed that a relatively well-known personality – and not Eric Johnston Chua – leaked the controversial sex videos of celebrity doctor Hayden Kho Jr.
Madrigal, in a radio interview, branded as wrong Optical Media Board's earlier claim that Chua – Kho's fraternity brother who is believed to have obtained a copy of the videos – was behind the proliferation of the private footage all over the Internet.
"Mayroon akong information, pero ayaw pa lumabas para mag-corroborate, na nagsasabi na hindi naman si Chua ang bumili at nagkalat [I have information – which still need corroboration – indicating that Chua did not steal then sell the videos," the senator said. |
| Filipino Director Brillante Mendoza Wins Best Directora At Cannes May 26, 2009 at 10:11 am |
|
It's always good to hear homegrown actors and directors getting recognition at film festivals abroad. But it's sad that we don't appreciate the kinds of films these talented directors have to offer. Our local movie industry will remain in the dumps as long as we patronize movies such as Enteng Kabisote, the 100th sequel, Mano Po, Part 1,000, etc.
Full story below.
Filipino director Brillante Mendoza won as Best Director at the 62nd edition of the Cannes International Film Festival in France. Brillante Mendoza won over renowned filmmakers like Quentin Tarantino (Inglourious Basterds) and Ang Lee (Taking Woodstock) for the said category.
Mendoza is the first Filipino to win Best Director at Cannes for a full-length film. Mendoza made his debut at Cannes last year with Serbis, which was also In Competition.
The director won for the crime film "Kinatay" (The Execution of P), which tells the grisly fate of a kidnap-rape victim (played by Maria Isabel Lopez) who is beaten up before she is murdered and hacked to pieces.
It is interesting to note that Filipina actress Mercedes Cabral played important roles in two award-winning films in Cannes. She was handpicked to portray a Filipina married to a Korean in the vampire film Bak-Jwi and she played the wife of Coco Martin in Kinatay.
In the Un Certain Regard section, the film Police Adjective of Corneliu Porumboiu (Romania) took the top jury prize. Raya Martin's Independencia, a historical drama starring Sid Lucero and Tetchie Agbayani, is the Philippines' first entry to this section.
Adolfo Alix Jr. and Raya Martin's Manila, starring Piolo Pascual, was one of ten films given a special screening but it did not compete in Cannes.
Aside from the aforementioned three full-length Filipino films, two short films also participated in Cannes 2009. These are: Sabongero directed by Filipino-American Janice Perez and the animated short Manong Maong helmed by Aissa PeƱafiel and Miguel Ocampo. |
| Baron Geisler Accused of Sexual Harrassment by Yasmien Kurdi May 25, 2009 at 9:52 am |
|

LushActor Baron Geisler is again accused of sexual harassment, this time by Kapuso star Yasmien Kurdi. This fucker doesn't know it yet, but he needs help. Badly. I can smell the alcohol wafting from Baron from my computer screen. This alcoholic bastard needs to be locked up. It will probably do him good, seeing that he can't stay away from alcohol. I don't care if he's a good actor. He is still pervy and sleazy.
Full story below.
Yasmien Kurdi and her lawyer Ferdinand Topacio went to the Women and Children Protection Center of the Philippine National Police at Camp Crame in Quezon City on Monday, 25 May, to file acts of lasciviousness complaint against actor Baron Geisler, who joined GMA Network recently.
Aside from acts of lasciviousness case, Kurdi also filed a complaint of unjust vexation against Geisler.
The two first met on May 19, but the incident happened during a taping for a new GMA show last May 21.
According to an article on Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Baron reportedly approached his co-star, Yasmien, and then, without warning touched the actress' body. PEP quoted an unidentified non-showbiz source as saying that Baron looked strange during the taping of GMA-7's upcoming primetime telenovela Suspetsa, directed by Mark Reyes.
The source said: "Una, nagla-laptop si Yas [Yasmien's nickname]. 'Tapos nakikitingin lang si Baron. 'Tapos kinalkal [ni Baron] gamit ni Yas. Noong nagpapahinga na si Yas sa tent niya para matulog, tinabihan bigla ni Baron. Niyakap siya. After no'n, while on take, dapat beso lang daw yung scene, pero tina-try siya halikan."
PEP added: "In a scene where Yasmien, who was wearing a dress, was supposed to go up a spiral staircase, Baron, according to the source, waited for Yasmien to go up "para silipan."
After the take, Baron, said the PEP source, masturbated in front of Yasmien.
Jennylyn Mercado, and Yasmien's personal Assistant (PA) reportedly saw the scene. The PA was able to record the incident with a cell phone camera, according to PEP.
PEP reported that Baron has apologized to Yasmien, claiming that he could not remember doing what he was supposed to have done. Kurdi has not withdrawn her complaint.
Geisler's counsel Carlos Alentajan declined to comment because he has not yet received copies of the complaints.
Geisler has previously been accused of the same offense by the 21-year-old daughter of William Martinez and Ma. Rosario "Yayo" Aguila-Martinez. | |
